 Article Abstract:

This article briefly introduces the new Office Open XML file formats, specifically, with respect to Microsoft Word 2007. It then walks the reader through an example of using the packaging services classes available in version 3.0 (and later) of the .Net Framework to generate a Word 2007 document programmatically, while leveraging a database for storage and retrieval of actual content.
