When creating an Access table, its important to know what kind of data it will hold, how it will be used in reports, and what kind of data entry will be needed. The better the data is controlled to make sure it is the right type and format needed the better chance of building meaningful reports and performing accurate calculations. Taking the time in the beginning to set up a table with the right data types and property settings is time well spent!
