 Article Abstract:

Most of the times many basic users of Microsoft Excel remain unaware of the advantages of using macros in Excel. Macros are basically a set of combined instructions or commands which actually make your life easy with automating your repetitive tasks in Excel. They are programmed by in built module called VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and can be run at any time by executing specific command in Excel.

Many advanced VBA programmers use VBA as a basic platform for programming various Excel macros. But for basic users it is not required to do the same. You can also simply record your repetitive tasks with Excels in-built tool called as Excel Macro Recorder. You can combine all the tasks into one user defined macro in order to use it later on.
