 Article Abstract:

(Mary Ann Richardson) Before Excel 2003, you could use the Window | Arrange menu to perform a side-by-side comparison of two workbooks on the screen. For example, to compare Total Monthly Sales in row 20 of both workbooks, you would open both workbooks, go to Windows | Arrange, click in one workbook, scroll to row 20, and then click in and scroll to row 20 in the second workbook. To return to row 1, you would have to separately click in each workbook window and press [Ctrl][Home]. Likewise, when you were finished comparing the workbooks, you would have to close each workbook individually.
