 Article Abstract:

When you switch to Print Layout mode in Microsoft Word 2003 ("View" - "Print Layout"), your document will be displayed onscreen similar to how it will look on paper. However, doing this adds some white space at the top and bottom of the document as well as white space between each page. This is to better make the content look like individual pieces of paper.
